As long as you have a correctly provisioned webmail instance on Exchange, including a valid ssl cert, it should work straight out of the box.

Subject: [itdiscuss] iPhone and Exchange 2003 Active Sync

I now have 4 senior staff with iPhones including a new 3G.  Of course
they want all their EX2003 email on their phones.  What have any of you
done to incorporate active sync rather than IMAP4?  What are the best
"how to" articles that can help me set up active sync correctly on my
EX2003 server and firewall?  Are any of you using ISA server to help
with this?
