[itdiscuss] Cert for Exchange 2007

Do not buy a wildcard cert. It is problematic with HTTPS/RPC, and also for ActiveSync. I had a wildcard cert on 2007, and although many say it is supported, all the problems I had went away when I went to a dedicated cert. I won't go back to a wildcard...

Subject: [itdiscuss] Cert for Exchange 2007

I am looking into purchasing a new certificate for our Exchange 2007 server. Currently we have one cert that is http://webmail.newcovenantbible.org which works well for Active Sync, Web mail, and many other things. It has given us some grief with the autodiscover service and HTTPS/RPC for Outlook any where.

I am wondering if I should buy a UCC Cert or if I should just purchase a wildcard cert.

Any thoughts?
