[itdiscuss] [SPAM] Final cut server?

I remember one of our video staff last year saying "but it's only
$1000!!!", oblivious to the 50K or so worth of mac server and storage
that it needs. 

It's still under consideration, and Josh Rudeen at Apple wants to
discuss it with us. From the conversations I had with Apple this summer,
it really takes a consultation approach, where Apple will send someone
out for a day or two and see what the processes are, and then make
recommendations from there. Certainly isn't an Out-of-the-box
experience, it needs to be properly designed.
