My guess is it's an interaction between MS Word and the PCL driver. I
have seen this type of problem occur when you repeatedly update the
same document. MS Word gets some kind of corruption in the document.
Usually recreating the document resolves the problem.
You might try updating the printer driver. If it's a PCL5 or PCL6
driver, you might try the postscript version if one is available. I
have had better luck with Postscript printer drivers. You can also
print it to a PDF file and then print from PDF to your printer.
