[itdiscuss] Sound Recording

I second audacity. We currently use this software to edit our online
sermons, simple to use, allows multiple tracks to be mixed / arranged,
export to mp3 with Lame encoder. Not a huge learning curve. Of course
if he's a mac guy, Garageband is a phenomenal piece of software.

What all do you like about this software? Also, do you know how big the
recordings will be? Should I plan on an external HD?

My boss goes to a small Baptist Church. He would like to record the
sermon and music for the worship service on his computer and use
software to edit the recording before burning it to CD. Any
recommendations for software? Something easy to use?
