Chris,

I was in a role similar to what you describe in a previous ministry....
It was a great opportunity for a person right out of college to get a
lot of experience but it also had a lot of negatives too... If you
would like to talk more in detail about this you are welcome to shoot me
an email or call me.

Subject: [Suspect Spam released by User] [itdiscuss] Director of
Technology

We are considering adding a Director of Technology position to our
staff. One of the questions that has been raised is whether this
individual could not only handle normal technology matters but also what
I call "production technology" matters. Such things as overseeing the
video camera teams, sound & light teams, really any technology that goes
with "producing" (forgive my language) a funeral through the Sunday
morning worship services.

Do any of you have this in your church? If so, do you have a job
description? Who would this person report to in your organization?

If these are clearly two distinct jobs, would you please send me the
respective job descriptions for your organization?

Thank in advance.
