[itdiscuss] Name/IP lookup

If you’re a sonicwall or mcafee shop, I should mention that both those incorrectly consider stuff from that site to be a “hacking tool” or some kind of malware. IPScan is tremendously useful, but you may have to get creative to work around the firewall.

I wouldn't see why not as long as you have routes setup for the IP.

I also like using nmap for network scanning.

AngryIP is a tool I have used for years to gather a quick list of IP's and open ports on the network.

I’m sure I used to know how to do this, and now my mind is blank. (yeah, go ahead and insert your insult/joke here). I can do a

	                net view /DOMAIN:name

to get a list of all the machines (at least the Windows one) on a network.

What’s an easy way to get the IP addresses to go with that list. Caveat, have to work in Windows, no *nix system available. Also unwilling to pay for a utility for this.

	Any easy answers?
