I am having tons of problems with Galaxy Express being very slow; also job scheduling is terrible-I can't make a single job for all my servers, I have to have one job for each server.

I welcome any input you might have.

Dan

We're using Galaxy Express and choose it because it was the solution that "stunk the least" when we did our research :)
Have you contacted CommVault support yet? We might possibly be able to do a quick voice chat as well.

Subject: [itdiscuss] Backup Software Revisited

I am again revisiting the question of backup software. I have been using most recently Commvault Galaxy Express, and am finding it significantly difficult to use. I am looking for something easy to use, reliable, will be doing disk-to-disk daily and tape on weekends. I also want something with decent notification abilities; I don't want to have a lot of false alarms.

What do you use and how has it been for you?
