All your requests for external name resolution are directed to the OpenDNS
servers which you configure for your desired filtering parametes.
It's really quite easy:

If you don't have a static public IP address (few home users do) you'll want
to use an updater application.

I think I will try it at home. Did you use it for your router? Can you give
me the quick and dirty on how it works? I am totally blown away by all the
folks who said they use it! And I have never heard of it!

Ditto on OpenDNS. We use it at work and I've set it up at home.

For free we love using OpenDNS. It does what we want it to and works well.
The price is right, too. :-)

Folks,
It is time for our Content Filtering renewal. I am looking into various
options, since prices have gone up on our current subscription (SonicWall).
What do you use? What do you like/dislike about it?
Is anyone using the Barracuda Content Filter? Websense (Express)?
I want to accomplish two things:
* Keep things secure for our elementary school
* Avoid having a proxy server
Thanks for your thoughts!
