But if you set the workstations to use OpenDNS for their DNS they will
have major trouble if they are joined to a domain and need access to
domain resources. That would still allow them to manually set DNS to
bypass it as well. I would suggest setting it on the firewall or as a
forwarder on the Windows DC's that way it uses OpenDNS regardless of
what they use.
I would still use a firewall that would block dns queries from
anything except DC's and devices that need to do queries that way no
one can bypass it.
