I'm not sure that qualified for what you were asking.
I didn't do a full upgrade, the Symantec had been installed on each
individual unit. I came in on the weekend and loaded the Endpoint and then
loaded the server versions. I then went to each machine, deleted the stand
alone version and loaded the network version as time allowed.

I was considering the option of moving My SAV server to a separate VM to
clean things up. Did you do an in-place upgrade? Julianna?
What process did you use to uninstall SAVCE?

Yes, it was their best upgrade yet. (which isn't flattering to their
process), but a big improvement in the console to deploy/manage it. I had a
few issues when I pushed the SEPS version out "over" previous versions.
(errors in outlook, that couldn't find the old add-in).. easily fixed, but I
feel like an upgrade is successful if you can do it and not have the End
users get errors. if you can uninstall previous versions of SAVCE before
you push SEPS out, it works more smoothly, in my experience.
