Driveimagexml requires preparing a bartpe or windows boot disk for a
restore.
Clonezilla is a linux boot cd with drive cloning built-in. Works well. I
used it to create an image of a school lab and then copied the image to a
couple of usb drives and just had to boot and restore the image to 25
machines.
If you have a linux server they even have an option to use a boot and
restore option through the network.

Subject: [itdiscuss] PC Cloning Software
Anyone have a recommendation for PC cloning software? I'm looking for
something free or cheap. I've tried using G4U but it won't recognize the
drive, which is a SATA drive. Any other ideas?
