You might want to send those out via a mass email service that is
independent of your organization.  

My Internet Email Servers can deliver five thousand emails within a few
hours.  The email list service sets you up as an Administrator that can
manage the list via a web browser.  You can add/remove subscribers from
your list and they can also add/remove themselves from the mailing list.
You can allow specific people to post to the list or you can have all
submissions go to the Administrator for approval.  Bounces from
undeliverable addresses are automatically unsubscribed.

I would be glad to provide this email service for anyone who would
require it. Email me with the total number of email addresses in your
list and how frequently you would want to send out emails for a quote.
