I would recommend they try to set the DisableLoopbackCheck registry key.

We had the same problem, and after a support call to Microsoft this is what fixed it. It sure would have been nice if this was in the documentation somewhere.

Subject: [itdiscuss] MS-SQL reporting services in SharePoint integrated mode assistance
Hello all,
Is anyone out there running MS SQL reporting services in sharepoint integrated mode? If so would you have any insight into the issue below?
I have SRS configured on a server we'll call SQL2008
I have SharePoint Server 2007 on a server we'll call MOS2007
Long story short I have it all configured and I can successfully run a report on my PC within Report Designer
I can successfully deploy a report to my document library in MOS2007 from Report Designer.
If I logon locally to SQL2008 and browse directly to the reports URL I can successfully run the report.
If I browse directly to the Reports URL from a remote PC and run the report I get this error:
* An error occurred during client rendering.
* An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
* Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
* For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
That error seems self explanatory and I am working on it now (but as said if I run this on the local reporting services server it renders fine)
Then finally another error I get is when I run the report from within SharePoint on any machine other than the SharePoint server itself:
An unexpected error occurred while connecting to the report server. Verify that the report server is available and configured for SharePoint integrated mode.
But if I run the report FROM the SharePoint server I get the first error (the data source error)
I have verified the settings are all correct (tried using invalid settings and the invalid settings were rejected by the SharePoint and reporting services) and accepted by SharePoint central admin and (as said) they deploy correctly.
Reporting Services in Native mode works great. Has anyone been successful in configuring SRS with in SharePoint integration mode with multiple servers?
