[itdiscuss] policy settings

Sorry about the blank email...still learning Google Apps keyboard shortcuts.
 :-)

When I remove machines from the domain, I notice that even if I create a
local admin account for someone, there seem to be existing security policy
settings that are still in place (e.g. password policies,etc...).  Is there
a way to remove them without wiping the machine so that the computer can
think on its own, with the default Windows XP Professional policy settings?
