The main issue I've had with X64 Win2003 & Vista systems is print
drivers for old LaserJet's.

In my opinion there are still too many compatibility issues to move
towards rolling out 64 bit desktops. My suggestion would be to put one
in your office and start testing your applications on it to determine
what if any impact going to 64 bit might have.

What is everyone's experience with 64-bit computing on a workstation? I
have stayed away from 64-bit workstations in the past to avoid
compatibility issues; but I am noticing far more 64-bit systems being
sold today, leading me to wonder if 64-bit has become more mainstream
recently. What's your take on 64-bit computing for your users'
computers?

I think it's faster than 32bit because there's double the bits... :)
or is it exponentially double? :)

We have clients that are 64bit but they are not running any older
software and the 32bit interpreter handles the 32bit software fine.
The only issues may be reliable drivers for older printers.

We're switching from 32-bit to 64-bit with our transition to Windows 7.
We're not expecting any issues and I tested pretty well.
