Is Outlook 2007's Instant Search enabled, or perhaps Windows Search 4.0?

I recently came across a problem that I'm wondering if any of you can
help me out with.  Outlook 2007 would not do a search of mail items
because it was busy indexing.  Any ideas on what that is about?
