[itdiscuss] transferring large files to campus in another state

When transferring large files I would suggest something like Par2.
Par files are most helpful to fight file corruption. (Imagine a 4GB file download that doesn't pass MD5. Do you download it again? Or if you were still using FAT32 on the receiving end and realize it won't save.)
