[itdiscuss] WAP Question

Darin,

I would start by replacing the WRT54G. We had the WRT54GL and even flashed
them with a more feature-rich BIOS. We were CONSTANTLY dropping connections
with these. We had a company deploy these across our entire campus (this
was their recommended equipment). A year later, I had to scrap these. We
are now using the SonicPoints with an NSA3500 acting as a controller for
them.

Subject: [itdiscuss] WAP Question

At one location, we have a 1.5Mbps DSL connection, and have a Linksys WRT54G
broadcasting to a Trendnet TEW-430APB access point.  That access point is
plugged into a switch but it is just a super slow connection and often drops
connections.  The only way around it is to go reboot the incoming internet
connection's DSL modem (Actiontek cheap one).  Any ideas??
