Dustin,
You could also use the JW Flash player and the free edition of Wowza
(limit 10 clients) to embed the video.

We use an open source solution called XIBO. Its still in a growing
stage but works great for us. You essentially install it on a server
and then connect remote pc clients. You simply schedule layouts for
each client.. it can handle powerpoint, html, all kinds of stuff.
We've got about 14 tvs active on it across our campus but only 2 clients
right now. I keep the computers in our server room and use ZV100s
(zeevee.com - but you can buy their older units on ebay for $300 or so)
to modulate HD Clear QAM over coax to them.. then simply change the
channel on the TVs to get what I want. The client computers have TV
tuner cards in them that we run a video feed from the main service
into.. inside of our XIBO layouts, we embed a section of HTML that uses
the VLC IE plugin to display the video.
It takes a little thought but you can do quite a bit with it and best of
all.. its FREE.

Starting to look at software for display screens in the church, we hope
to put them throughout the church with announcements, scheduled events
and maps, we might like to add video later.
I have been looking at SharePoint and using the internal network, but
wanted to know what other products are out there that others might be
using and like using or don't like using.
Thanks,
