We convinced ATT to delegate reverse DNS for our IP ranges to us, James. We’re not on the IP Flex service, but do have high speed through ATT at multiple sites. This may be more than you are looking for, but if you have an address block that they are willing to delegate, you might be able to convince them of this. Another option to consider anyway ....

So we recently moved 100% of our Internet services to AT&T "IP Flex" service. We're having an issue with Reverse DNS when trying to send emails to some domains that do the rDNS lookup on each message because we don't have it in place.
I've tried SPF, TXT, SRV, etc. - no dice.
Domain registrar is currently Network Solutions.
AT&T won't create a PTR record for me pointing back to my mail server unless they "host" the domain for me, which I don't want to do for multiple reasons, including the downtime that such a move would incur.
What can I do? Is a SmartHost an option? I'm not familiar with them but am desparate now and ATT is not being at all flexible.
