What kind of contract do you have w/ Comcast?
PTR is entirely possible with COMCAST.

I built a majority of their cmts systems across the country and know that system really well.
Bottom line - if you need to Turbo to John Bonner in the Philadelphia PA Market.
He is very high on the food chain -

856-354-1660 or 856-354-1880 i believe...
been a while since I chatted him up however.

Make sure your calling and getting the business support side - not consumer.

I learned "stuff" about DNS in general and learned some cool little bit along the way as well, and even learned a lot about my cruddy ISP, AT&T, who has been nothing but a giant headache since Day One (I already knew that they were cruddy but it's good to know that they are equally cruddy and other people have experienced trouble with them, as backward as that is). That's a good thing too. If we weren't locked HARD into contracts with them (before my time) I would have cut and run long ago. The clock is ticking though!

So, we're back in business, everything is fixed and running smoothly, and youse guys/gals have again proven that IT Discuss IS THE BEST! A simple question posted yesterday and within 24 hours not only are we "fixed," but I've learned a great deal as well, and I even (get this) ENJOYED MYSELF and the responses were as much entertainment as they were informational. But as we techies all know, often/usually these are one in the same.
