I am considering an upgrade of server hardware to improve the
performance of our VMware farm.

Currently I have:

*         2 HP DL360 g3 servers with 8gb of RAM, 3.02ghz dual-processor,
dual-power supply

*         1 HP DL380 g4 with 8gb of RAM, 3.4ghz dual-processor,
dual-power supply

*         1 HP MSA1000 SAN with 11 300gb 10k disks, with
dual-controllers, dual-fiber switches, dual-power supplies

I'm considering:

*         1 HP DL365 g5 dual AMD Opteron 2356 Quad Core 2.3ghz
processors, 32gb RAM, dual-power supply, 6 320gb SATA drives.

I have about 30 users, with about 20 BlackBerry only users. I am
running a Windows 2003 network with Exchange 2003, SQL 2005, and Sybase
11.  I have 9 VMs.

What do you all think?

Thanks,
