There is a cool distro built around gparted that is called "Parted
Magic" (http://partedmagic.com/). It has a real nice GUI and I've
found it to be quite easy to use. We also use it pretty much daily and
haven't had any data loss problems (although I've never used it on a
server; only workstations).
