I have a distant memory of a problem that was a lot like this, and as with
your situation, a reboot always cured it. Ends up the source of the problem
was the spool directory became unusable because the volume it was on getting
full. Any chance you have something going on each weekend that leaves
behind a lot of temporary files on the same volume that holds the spool
files?

What happens with the print jobs? Do they sit in the queue or just never
print?

Also, anything interesting in the event logs over the weekend or when people
print on monday morning?

If it only happens on monday morning then what is going on only during the
weekend that might be causing it?
