[itdiscuss] SSD Drives in Laptops

We put one in our software dev's laptop. Speed is dramatically faster,
and no word on battery life.

Battery life... yes.. 

 

Read/Write speed... maybe a little faster in Win7 than Vista... but not
amazingly faster... I bought my laptop refurbed so it wasn't an
additional cost.

 

It's obviously a lot more quite.
